That idea became FINS Grill in 2005. The goal was simple. Serve fresh seafood, welcome guests like old friends, and create a place where everyone could slow down and enjoy being on the water. The motto, "A sunny place for shady people," still reflects that spirit today.
Inside FINS, the story of the community lives on the walls. A long hallway filled with photos shows decades of fishing trips, family milestones and memories made right here on the docks. Every frame tells part of the Port A story. The hand-painted mural inside the dining room brings that history to life. Children casting lines, friends celebrating a good day on the water, a family watching boats drift by. It is a tribute to the people and moments that shaped FINS long before the restaurant ever opened.
Over twenty years later, FINS has become part of the daily rhythm of the marina. Guests gather under the palapa. Kids peek out the window to watch boats ease in. Families settle in after long beach days, and regulars stop by to check the harbor and say hello. Many of the same families who came here as children now bring their own children to the same tables.
Through every season, one thing has remained the heart of FINS. It has always been about people. The memories they bring, the stories they share and the simple joy of spending time together on the water.
